Snow at the window
Lina pressed her hand to the cold window and watched soft snowflakes float down. Grandpa said, 'Let's get dressed for the snow the warm way.'

First the coat
Lina picked up her coat and pushed one arm, then the other, through the sleeves. Snowy Cat watched from the rug with wide eyes.

Hat and mittens
Grandpa pulled the hat down over Lina's ears and helped with the mittens. 'Warm ears, warm hands,' he said.

Boots by the door
Lina stomped each foot into a boot and stood taller. The boots felt heavy, but her smile looked even bigger.

Ready to crunch
Outside, the snow crunched under every step. Lina lifted her mittened hand and waved. 'I dressed for winter all by myself, almost!' she said.
