Car Seat Safety

For the safest ride, make sure your car seat is properly installed. A child who has reached the age of one year old and weighs at least 20 pounds may ride face forward. Here are some tips:

  • Before allowing a child to ride face forward make sure they meet the height and weight requirements.

  • Not all seats fit into all vehicles. So, to be safe make sure your vehicle can adequately accommodate the seat.

  • Tightly install the car seat in a rear seat, facing forward.

  • Put the harness straps snug and place clip at arm pit level.

  • Read and follow the manual closely.
