Reading to Your BabyBabies start learning early on. You will find some information that says that baby start learning when they are in your womb growing. There are in fact some pregnant women that will read to their baby while they are pregnant with them. If this is something that you choose to do that is great. However, there are many new moms that wait until they have had their baby to start reading to them. Most new moms are wanting to know when they should begin reading to their new bundle of joy. The truth is, that you can start reading to your baby at any time that you want to. Starting your baby early with books is a great idea, and children that are read to seem to do better in school. Your child will probably even grow up to be a reader himself if you start him out by reading to him frequently. Before long, you will even notice that your child will be trying to read by himself. This is great and is showing that they are willing and ready to learn. Reading to your baby before they are a year old will have such a great impact on their life. They will love being read to, and you will find that they will sit so still and enjoy this time with you, listening to every word that you read. Before long your one year old will be talking so well, and have a vocabulary that will blow you away from your reading to him. Most babies are born ready to learn at an early age. Make reading to your baby a special cuddling time, that you both will enjoy. You will find that your child will have a respect for books and love reading when they are grown as well. |
