They claim that the baby in the womb can hear you read to him, and that this also helps him become familiar with his mother's voice. Start a bedtime routine and take the time to read a book a to your child every night before he goes to sleep. Let your child pick the book and the story, and get him excited about reading early on. You and your child will be glad that you did in the long run. Have your spouse take turns with you reading to your kids every night.
