DressersA dresser is a short, but long piece of furniture with drawers on the front. There are several rows of drawers and the first row can be made up of several smaller drawers. You may mistake a chest of drawers or highboy for a dresser, but they are actually separate pieces; a highboy is so named because it is a tall piece of furniture that usually stands on long elegant legs, which is the Queen Anne style. A chest of drawers is a tall piece with drawers and may or may not have short stubby legs. Not only do dressers provide storage for your newborn's clothing and can also provide additional space in your nursery. For example, you can use your dresser to store diapers and receiving cloths. Additionally, you will need a place for your bibs, burping cloths and other assorted goods. You could also store additional crib bedding in dressers. Dressers have many uses and if choosen for quality of materials can last from generation to generation.
