Choosing crib sets is a fun part of decorating your baby's nursery because you are able to share great memories with your infant. You will probably select colors, patterns and characters that evoke warm feelings for you. These are the feelings that you want to share and embrace with your newborn.
Crib sets are also wonderful because they graduate to use on toddler beds. Your baby will out grow everything so rapidly that it is a comfort to know that some items will last. Choose well made items. Some character comforters do not have reversible qualities, which means that the side that you usually put on top of your baby's body is rough. You can find top sheets, or for an easier solution, turn the comforter upside down. The character and the design will be touching your baby, but it will provide soft and cozy comfort.
Finally, choose crib sets that are machine washable. You will save time if you can toss them in the laundry with like colors and items. Every step that you take to save yourself time will allow you to spend more time with your newborn and that is the best reward.

• Select properly sized bedding for your crib. Oversized quilts or other bedding can cause suffocation because the soft extra cloth bunches up and your newborn will not be able to lift its head to get away from the extra fabric.
• Keep in mind, the higher the thread count, the softer the sheets will be on your baby's skin.
• Choose two or three crib sets so that you can quickly remake the crib and not have to immediately get your laundry done.
