Crib Toys
The number and variety of crib toys has grown greatly from the simple mobile that hangs above your baby's crib. Lighted toys that have movement, like aquariums with swimming fish, can be side-mounted on your baby's crib. These provide entertainment and lulling sounds so that your baby is entertained or relaxed to sleep alone. You will want to secure toys according to the manufacturers instructions. Use and fasten straps that are included with the toy. If the straps aren't included, you can purchase secure straps to avoid crib accidents.
You will also find toys that can be mounted on the railings of your baby's crib. If you are going to mount a crib toy, place the toy on the side opposite the moveable railing. Your baby's entertainment and comfort is your concern and you can keep your baby happy and safe in her crib by following package directions and by removing loose toys from the crib before you place your baby in it for sleep or a nap.
