Planning a baby shower with decorations and themes can be so much fun. There are so many different themes as well as decorations that you can use. Decorating for a baby shower in a particular theme is really fun and cute. The new mom will love walking into her baby shower that was decorated with a lot of thought. You can match your décor to your theme and it will look as if you spent hours planning and decorating for the shower.

Some baby shower decorations that you can use are streamers, balloons, banners, and many other things. If you know the sex of what the baby will be, you can do pink for a girl and blue for a boy. You could also use many baby items to decorate with.

All new mothers love all of the items that are put into a diaper cake. If your theme is for a new little princess that is coming, having a princess cake made to match your theme will fit with your décor perfectly.

Also while planning your decorations and theme for the baby shower, you can also include the theme on the shower invitations. Sending out themed invitations is a great way to start your theme at the baby shower you are giving. It gives a hint of what the baby shower will be about for the guests, and you can even use any that are leftover for decorations as well. Putting the leftover invitations into frames and using them as decorations on the many tables you will set up is a great idea. They will look great, and make the theme for your shower come together even more so.
