Medicine Kits

Medicine kits are wonderful to have in the event that you baby starts to feel bad. You will find that having a kit around sure beats leaving at 2 AM in the morning to run and go get Tylenol when your baby wakes you with a fever. You just never know when you will need a band aid or rubbing alcohol as well.

Most medicine kits will also have a thermometer so that you never have to guess whether or not your baby is running a fever. Gas drops are also something that most new mothers do not want to be without. Do not forget about band aids and first aid ointment, as these are essential for little boo-boo's and scratches. You can make your own kits to have on hand, or you can also buy them.

Part of keeping your baby happy and healthy is having everything on hand that you baby needs. Whether your baby is sick or not, you should make sure that you have a supply of Tylenol, gas drops, thermometer, band aids, antibiotic ointment, cotton balls, rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. That way you will always be prepared for anything or any little accidents that your baby might have. Many kits will also have most of these items in the kit. However, there is nothing at all wrong with adding the kit as well.

There are many medicine kits where you can purchase everything together as well. You will find that these are quite convenient, and everything will come all together in a cute and tidy little package so that you can store everything in the same place. Be sure that you store your kit out of baby's reach, and that you have it in a safe convenient place for easy access as well. So, the next time you are awakened at 2 AM, you will know just where the Tylenol is and will be able to get your baby feeling better fast.

You can carry your baby's medicine kit in your diaper bag, and be sure that you take it with you when you travel as well. You just never know when you might need to use something out of it, and this way you will always be prepared.

Infant gas can cause your little one to be fussy. To reduce gas, burp your little one several times between feedings. If your infant tends to be sensitive, be careful with over stimulating him/ her (running errands, lights, phones, visitors, etc.) because it can lead to more gas. If also else fails, consult your doctor first but mothers swear by Mycilin drops to reduce gas.
