High Chairs
Using a high chair to feed your baby makes it so very easy and fun for feeding time. You will find that high chairs are sold everywhere that most baby products and furniture is sold as well. A high chair is a safe seat for your baby to sit in while he eats. There is usually a tray on the front of the chair that is great for placing finger foods and catching crumbs.
High chairs are sold in many shapes, brands and colors. You can find one that will match the décor in your kitchen, or dining room if you wish. Or you could get one that reflects your baby in pink or blue. Training your baby to eat in the high chair in the kitchen will eliminate messes and food being spilled all over the house. The chairs are higher than a normal kitchen chair so that you can pull your little one right up to the table to eat with you and the rest of the family.
When you are high chair shopping, be sure that you find one that has a seatbelt included with the chair. It is a good idea to make it a habit of strapping your baby into the high chair each and every time that you use it. This will ensure that your baby will be safe sitting in the chair, and will not fall out when he squirms.
Be sure that you never leave your little one unattended in the high chair. Keep your eyes on him at all times, and be sure that he is close enough to you that you can sit him back down if he tries to stand up. High chairs are pretty safe, however, you should still closely monitor your child while he is sitting in one. To fall out of one would hurt.
As you can see, a high chair is an important piece of furniture that you will need for your baby. Choosing and shopping for one will be a lot of fun, and you will enjoy feeding your little one out of it as well.
