Infant Clothes

Infant clothes are adorable. It is very hard to pass up teeny-tiny clothes, socks and booties. This is the stage that a baby will outgrow very quickly. In fact, your newborn might not have time to wear all of the newborn items that you receive at a baby shower. When you are shopping, you should buy larger sizes, not only because of the savings you will enjoy, but because your baby will be able to use the items. Sure, your baby will be swimming in that 0-3 month sleeper at first, but before you know it, your baby is on to 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes.

You will look back on your infant and newborn items and marvel at how quickly your little bundle of joy grew out of the clothes. You can choose a favorite outfit to save as an "heirloom" or there are companies that make pillows or quilts out of clothes that carry special meaning for you. Either way, you will enjoy looking at the newborn clothes as your baby grows.

•  Shop for dressing easy and not "cuteness"; the more comfortable the item is to put on a newborn the more useful it will be.

•  Avoid garmets that have to be entirely removed to allow a diaper change.

•  Limit the number of garmets that you purchase in "newborn" size; your baby will grow rapidly.
